"Fun For Everyone!"

Bri's friends, Casey and Danny, were visiting from Wasington this past week. We had a great dinner at La Cresta Mexican Grill and then decided to do what ANY mature, sophisticated adults would do.... bolwing! It turns out Wii bolwing is MUCH easier... who knew!? :) Oh, and BTW "flash photography" is prohibited at bolwing alleys during league play... no, seriously... "it's distracting" and apperently I was pointing it "right at them" (in their wild imagination maybe)(which is why I took a pic of the "Join a league today - fun for everyone!" sign... cause it's not). Anyway, I've digressed... it was in fact a great evening and I can't wait to go see Casey and Danny in Washington.

Christmas week

It was a busy Christmas week... so busy I only managed to snap a few shots the entire week! But I did get at least a couple shots each day, of everything from building gingerbread houses to wine tasting, and everything in between. Enjoy the pics and I hope your holiday season was as enjoyable as mine.

The G1

Sooooo... as many know my phone (blackberry pearl) SUCKED! Sooooo... I got a new one. The new G1 (Google phone). It's pretty dang sweet. I'm loving it! And NO MORE "."s! (inside joke)

Brent & Amy

Saturday ten.eleven.photo shot a VERY fun, newly engaged couple, Brent & Amy. We went to a park in Murrieta early in the morn, and as the evidence will show... it was freezing... no, like ACTUALLY freezing. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and Brent & Amy are every photographers dream... easy going, happy, and just down for havin' a good time. Congrats and enjoy the pics you guys!

Big weekend ahead...

Let's see.... tonight I am constructing a beautiful 2 bed, 2 bath, gingerbread house with Bri. Tomorrow morning I'll wake up before the sun to do an engagement shoot for the future Mr. & Mrs. Brent Stine. After that I'll be heading down to La Jolla for Bri's company Christmas party at Torrey Pines. Wake up Sunday at 6am for Marketplace at the Diamond. And finish the weekend with loved ones at our family Christmas party sunday evening, in Pasadena. I'll have plenty of pics on Monday, so stop by next week. :)

Have a great weekend!!!

Marketplace at the Diamond

This past Sunday marked the first Marketplace at the Diamond event. For those of you who don't know, Marketplace at the Diamond is an open-air market in which Lighthouse created the logo, website, and all marketing materials. It's hosted by the Storm, at their stadium in Elsinore. We got a large number of good pics from the day, here's a few of my favorites.

Ice Skating

I took Bri ice skating this past weekend; Bruised ankles, frozen noses, and my ass hitting the ice (twice), but it was all worth it. :)

Gingerbread!

Nothing like a few drinks, good friends, and ginger bread men. BIG shout out to Bri aka Brizzle for expediting the process and being a kick-ass baker.

Progressive Dinner

This past weekend our friends had our annual progressive dinner. The theme this year was 'Ugly Holiday Sweaters'. Food was fantastic, it included pumpkin raviolis with a gorgonzola cream sauce, spinach puff ball things, A-MAY-ZING cheese dip for crackers, tomato and meatball soup, caprese salad, ginger bread men, oreo and chocolate balls and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. There were definitely some ugly sweaters there as well. Here are a few fun and tasty pics from the evening.

Best Deal Ever!

on thanksgiving my aunt gave me the greatest gift of the season... she told me about a little website called black-friday.net. this website shows the "best" deals of the year on black friday. better yet it shows the best online deals over the holiday weekend. after browsing for a little bit i stumbled across a deal ritzcamera.com was having; 3 sandisk 4gb cf cards for $60! I know right, but wait it gets better... sandisk has a deal when you buy 3 4gb cf cards they give you a $60 prepaid visa. so yes, free! $6.75 at the end of the day is what i 'lost' for 12 mofoin' gigs! Anywho, i'm stoked, and thought i might share. big thanks to Sherry for hookin a brother up :)

The Hoehne Experiment

'the hoehne experiment' is basically my sub-par attempt to mimic the great trever hoehne, in what he has made 'his' style of photography. it's (in my opinion) impressionist photography.

so, this past week i walked around old town in the cold 40 degree weather snapping shots, and the below is what i came up with.
